Description

Produced from 1955 to 1959, the Type 3 AK was an improved version of the Type 2 AK. The Type 3 is the last version of the Russian AK family that was based on a milled receiver instead of stamped.

Most milled receiver AK's in current production, such as the Arsenal SAM7/5 and Century Arms C39, are based on this design and feature a 2 tang and socket design that holds the stock into the receiver.

The APS reproduction of the Type 3 stock features

Baltic Birch laminate wood.

All hardware required.

Bottom mounted sling point.

Trapdoor for cleaning kit and reinforcement pins.

Standard Warsaw length of pull 9 1/4" from receiver to buttplate.

Your choice of finish.

Stock requires 1/8" pilot holes to be drilled for the (3) tang screws.
